The “Eshret Omor” podcast takes us on the journey of the residents of old Mosul, from siege to displacement, then the challenge of returning to a stricken city and the insistence on restoring life. The human stories in this spot record new historical testimony, as the character of the Mosul individual is difficult.
These podcast recordings are part of the “Eshret Omor” project, supported by the “Wasl” Civil Society Fund of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and implemented by the “Khaloha Ajmal Foundation.”
An audio journey that narrates the details of a difficult era in the history of Mosul society, told by its people, and we listen to the stories of their steadfastness, patience, and sacrifices.
Thanks and appreciation to everyone who participated with us in this work, who were part of our journey.
- The team working on the “Eshret Omor” project.
